On IMDB under the Trivia heading for this film, it says:
In the last scene, the girl in the train who looks up and smiles at Sara is the "real life-Sara". Her name is Tabita, and the director got the inspiration for the film from reading her story in a national Danish newspaper in 2006.

I can't confirm if that is true but it refers to this scene:

UK charity "Refuge" gives response to WT article on domestic abuse
by cedars ini'm sure by now you are all aware of the feb 15th, 2012 study edition of the watchtower, and its outrageous experience depicting domestic violence.. as you may know, i have been looking into the matter in some detail.
i decided to contact the uk domestic abuse charity "refuge".
they indicated their concern towards the article and offered to help in any way they could.

I think you need to take it to the press. It doesn't surprise meatme at all that a charity doesn't want to name and shame another 'charity'.
Corrected.

"Flawed Faith vs. Loss of Faith"
by leavingwt inbelow is a quote from a recent thread at the channel c forum that caught my attention.
it llustrates how the exit strategy for some awakened jws must include a religious alternative.
this particular individual is particularly concerned that jw children will become godless, upon learning that wt is not the only true religion.

So a JW child will always be better off than the child of an atheist/agnostic?
Huge generalisation.
I have been meaning to get hold of this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Parenting-Beyond-Belief-Raising-Religion/dp/0814474268

2 months of downers.
by LouBelle ini've had a very difficult 2 months since my uncle has died.
it is not becasue of his death, it just so happend to follow his death and that is the time line.. i've always been a strong woman, from little, i had to stand on my own two feet and not lean on anyone - and i that is how i tick.. each instance has hit me financially and has been piled high on my plate.
there have been days when i thought i should end it all and literally take my own life - if i had something quick at my disposal, i know i wouldn't be here now.

I am sorry Lou, that is a lot to deal with. I hope the new year is kinder to you.

Any Brits Striking or Rallying Today? (Nov 30th Public Sector Strike re: Pensions)
by mummatron inalthough i'm a member of both the nasuwt & atl unions, i technically can't strike as i don't have a job at present, and although i have been invited by both unions to join in the demonstrations, i won't be rallying/protesting either as i have my 2 small children to look after.
however i am fully behind the strikes.. here's some info for those of you who aren't uk based and would like an overview of the situation.... .
